The Italian town of Muggia has a number of small border crossings with neighbouring villages in Slovenia. This one is very small, and is interesting insofar as there are a number of border markers and in this case they follow the Italian property line east of the crossing. On the ground it is difficult to identify where exactly the border is. There are additional local signs, including a 1m to the border (or town limits). I visited this point as part of the IBRG SITEX-23 expedition.

The border

Border markers
There were 3 border markers. 1 close to the road crossing point and 2 marker the edge of the Italian property to the east of the road.
