The Sławatycze – Domaczewo Border Crossing between Poland and Belarus appeared to be modern with a multi lane road leading the the border from the Polish side. However the crossing point has been closed since 1 July 2016 by the Belorussian authorities due to the poor condition of the bridge crossing the border. The border crossing point will be closed until the repair is completed.
I visited this POI as part of IBRG EPTEX-24 expedition. Polish military were stationed at the border crossing facilities
After our experiences at BYPLUA we decided not to engage further. It would have been good to have seen the border bridge but that would not have been allowed.
