A sad reality is we do not live forever, rather than deleting members who have passed, we remember them here in this archive. We remember their contribution to the group and the friendship and good times we have shared.

| Name | Country | Notes |
| Harry ten Veen | NL | Harry (aka Harm) was the editor of BorderLand which is a rich resource for border enthusiasts with many photos and reports. A well known and regarded border enthusiast in the Dutch border community. Organizer of numerous expeditions in the BeNeLux and participant in four IBRG expeditions, he was known for his extensive knowledge of borders, his good humour and his willingness to cross borders when perhaps the sensible thing was not to. His Dutch colleagues remember a particular winter visit searching for border markers along the Vennbahn in sub zero temperatures where Harry led from the front. One of the original members of IBRG and a member of the fabled visit to BGGRTR (2005). He had many interests including, lighthouses, islands and nature. He was also a keen amateur radio user with the call sign PA8KM that he used recently to contact the remote Market lighthouse. He held a previous role as System Coordinator at Rabobank NL. He died peacefully in January 2024 after a long illness aged only 68, our thoughts are with his wife Rita and their daughters Emma and Laura. |
