It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the founder members of the International Border Research Group after a short illness this month. Harry was very knowledgeable about border matters and is
fondly remembered by members not only of the IBRG but also the Dutch border community as a whole.
He will be sorely missed for his knowledge, his company, friendship and humour as well as his tendency to lead from the front and cross all borders, even those he perhaps should not have done . His memorial page is here
