Uccea-Žaga Border Crossing

Moving south along the border between Italy and Slovenia, the last border crossing of the day was a remote one. The typography of the area meant that the now redundant border control facilities were some distance from the border. The border at this point is marked in a narrow gorge with the river Učja. I visited this point as part of the IBRG SITEX-23 expedition.
