I cannot believe it has been a year since I have sent an update post. In that time I have been busy with 3 quite distinct border trips: a short trip to Poland to visit the Danzig City State borders and the modern border between Poland and Russia and 2 much larger IBRG trips.
LIVCO-25 was a 10 day trip which visited the Inner German border, the border between Germany and the Czech Republic before focusing on border POI’s around Lake Constance visiting the borders and tripoints of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and then finally POI’s between Switzerland and Italy. Many border crossings and markers, a divided railway station. 4 tripoints and 2 historical tripoints plus a visit to a rare quadripoint at Sorgschrofen (1635m) is where the 4 borders (2 German and 2 Austrian meet).
SATEX-25 was a 3 week trip to South America, the primary aim was to visit 4 tripoints including the most southern in the world. In addition there were exclaves, divided towns, border markers and border crossings. These visits are going to keep me busy updating my website over the next few months.
After some time away this months updates are a mixture of updating pages, structural changes and visit reports. It makes sense to me as I think how to approach the best way to do things! Please bare with me, it will all come together.

Poland Visit
In May and June I took a short trip to Poland to visit the Danzig City State borders and the modern border between Poland and Russia, there were several POI’s on the old Danzig City State border with East Prussia and a historical tripoint too! The Vistula Split is divided by the current border between Poland and Russia as well as the old border between Danzig City State and East Prussia. A strategically constructed canal was also of interest.

LIVCO-25
The first section of the IRBG LIVCO-25 expedition focused initially on the historic inner German border with visits to memorials, rail crossing points, a museum at Mödlareuth – a village previously divided by the border as the northern part was in East Germany and the southern part in West Germany. We also visited an internal German tripoint before visiting the historic tripoint between Bavaria, Saxony and Bohemia, and later East and West Germany and Czechoslovakia.
