Did you know that Austria and France shared a border?

In  La Flamengrie bordermarkers from 1780 and 1819 dot the French town which is surrounded on 3 sides by Belgium. Full report with maps and photos is here Continue reading Did you know that Austria and France shared a border?

BEFRLU Tripoint – new report

This is the saddest and most neglected of all the tripoints I have visited (16 in total). The Belgium – France and Luxembourg wet tripoint is situated in industrial wasteland near Radange (LU), Athus (BE) and Mont-Saint Martin (FR).  It looks better now than on my first visit in 2011. It does need some love and attention. Maps, photos and report here Continue reading BEFRLU Tripoint – new report
