Did you know that Austria and France shared a border?

Indeed they did between 1714–1794 when Austria gained control of the Spanish Netherlands. In  La Flamengrie bordermarkers from 1780 and 1819 dot the French town which is surrounded on 3 sides by Belgium. Full report with maps and photos is here
