The Kula Border Crossing is the main mountain pass at 1,795 meters above sea level along the scenic P8 / R-106 road roughly a 10 km climb from Rožaje and a 22 km descent toward Peja. There are separate border controls and customs checks, 10 km apart on each side of the border.
Due to its high altitude, this pass offers stunning panoramic mountain views but can experience heavy snow, ice, and challenging driving conditions during the winter months.
It is the major border crossing between Kosovo and Montenegro. I visited this point as part of the IBRG WEBTEX -26 expedition

Kosovan Side

Montenegrin Side
After 10 km we reached the Montenegro border and customs checkpoint. An Italian Frontex Official checked our passports.
